
In the interest of public safety, the Calgary Police Service is issuing the following public information and warning in regards to the release of an inmate to the city.
Jack Samuel FROESE, 28, was released into the Calgary area after having served a three-and-a-half-year sentence in federal prison for sexual assault with a weapon and uttering threats to cause death or harm.
The public is warned that FROESE is known for violent sexual assault with a weapon and uttering death threats to females.
FROESE is a Caucasian, 5'10" tall, 185 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes.

Public are advised that the intent of this process is to enable members of the public to take suitable precautionary measures and not to embark on any form of vigilante action.
