Security Services - Your Safety Is Our Concern
Your safety is our concern and we pride ourselves on ensuring a safe and secure learning environment and protecting Mount Royal's property and equipment.
Our department is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and services include: accident response, alarm response, responding with emergency First Aid when required, responding to any unusual activity observed on campus.
The role of our Security Representatives is an important one. Our staff spend time patrolling the grounds — on foot, bike and vehicle patrols, and are responsible for assisting the Mount Royal community in whatever capacity is needed — be it helping someone find their way or helping someone to their vehicle.
Security Services operates a SAFEWALK program which provides an escort to anyone from the Mount Royal Community to any University destination — the parking lot, student residence or the bus stop. SAFEWALK can also be provided within Mount Royal University buildings. No matter when you need this service, we are here for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
We work towards developing relationships with all those who come to the University because together, we can all contribute to a safe campus. If you have a concern please contact us.
