2. What types of jobs do students get?
   Job placements are made on the basis of students' interests, abilities and job availability. Most jobs are entry-level positions in a wide variety of settings.

3. Will I get paid during my practicum?
   This will vary from student to student depending on previous experience and job availability. Our program monitors work placements to ensure the mutual satisfaction of student and employer. Work evaluations are completed to measure student progress with industry standards. It is the goal of the program to assist students to obtain competitive employment and be paid accordingly.

4. Can I use the pool and weight room if I am in the program?
   Students can purchase Campus Recreation passes on a semester basis that provides them with access to the swimming pool and weight room.

5. Is student housing/residence available?
   Mount Royal University operates a student residence on campus. Spaces fill quickly and it is recommended to call Residence Services at 403.440.6275 or toll-free 1.866.264.7875 to discuss availability and costs.

6. If I don't drive, do I need to purchase a bus pass?
   Students who will not be travelling in their own vehicle are required to purchase a monthly Calgary Transit Pass. Passes can be purchased at various locations around the city. It is recommended that students book time with a travel trainer before class starts if they require assistance in this area.

7. How do I apply to the Employment Preparation Extension Certificate Program?
