Aspiring to provide a diverse and inclusive learning environment, Bissett challenges students to become community leaders. Using fundamentals of experiential learning and small class sizes, students are provided with opportunities to connect with industry professionals and local communities throughout their degree.

We offer a different kind of business education, to students who want to make a change in our world. The experience at Bissett is very unique, challenging students to put knowledge into practice by engaging in real client projects and directed research. By studying at Bissett our students will transform their degree into their passion.

Bachelor of Business Administration

The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) is designed to prepare students for success in the commercial, nonprofit and public sectors of the Canadian and global economy, while engaging in their communities.

Rather than giving you a highly theoretical "big business" degree, Mount Royal's distinctive four-year program features experiential learning in the classroom and co-operative work experience opportunities. Once you graduate with a BBA, you'll be prepared to hit the ground running and make your mark in the business world. You will have the opportunity to specialize in one of four majors listed below.

Aviation Diploma

The Aviation program is for students who want to build a career in the growing aviation industry—whether that means managing operations on the ground or taking a seat in the flight deck.

Through strong industry connections, students in both the Aviation Diploma and Bachelor of Aviation Management programs gain real-world perspectives and develop the skills needed to succeed in an evolving industry. With a strong foundation in business, graduates are prepared for continued growth and advancement throughout their careers.

Students pursuing the pilot stream complete a Commercial Pilot Licence and Multi-Engine Instrument Rating.

Certificate Programs

The Bissett School of Business offers certificates designed for individuals with prior post-secondary education and work experience. They will be of value to individuals contemplating a career change or those who wish to expand their knowledge of the field.

The Faculty of Business, Communication Studies & Aviation is pleased to partner with Instats. Instats is a mission-driven organization devoted to improving research practices across the globe. Instats does this by facilitating expert-led training for PhD and post-PhD researchers across a broad range of fields, methods, and theoretical orientations through the Instats platform.
