Shane’s passion for finance began in high school when he was tasked with managing and trading a simulated portfolio in one of his Accounting classes. He continued learning about Finance in university and has been able to apply some of these learnings during co-op work terms. Shane is a driven individual who has a goal of completing his CFA designation and building a career in Energy or Capital Markets. Outside of the school and the SIF, Shane coaches baseball for an elite level academy. He also enjoys spending time out in the mountains and skiing during the winter.
