Dawson developed an interest in finance during his first year at SAIT, after taking an introductory stock market course. This is where he developed a passion for equity markets and began to dedicate his free time to learning more about the world of finance. He transferred to Mount Royal University in pursuit of joining the Student Investment Fund and continuing his education in finance. Dawson has a desire to learn about the real-world applications of financial analysis and economic theory. Outside of the SIF, he enjoys playing hockey, slow-pitch, and golf.
