Welcome family & friends

Family and friends are invited to attend Mount Royal's convocation ceremonies and share in this special time with the graduates. There are no tickets required to attend the ceremonies and no limit to the number of guests who may attend.

The Spring Convocation 2012 ceremonies will be held Thursday, May 31 and Friday, June 1 in the Triple Gym at Mount Royal University which is located at 4825 Mount Royal Gate SW. Guest seating is located in the bleachers of the Triple Gym.

Information for guests

  • The doors to the Triple Gym will open one hour prior to each ceremony.
  • Ceremonies are expected to last approximately two and a half hours. Small children may find it difficult to sit through the entire ceremony.
  • Please remember to turn off your mobile devices during the ceremony.
  • As a courtesy to others, we ask that guests please remain seated until the conclusion of the ceremony.
  • Complimentary parking is available in all student and visitor parking lots the day of the ceremony.

Note: Guests who may require special consideration or assistance are asked to call the Office of University Advancement at 403.440.7090. Ushers will be available to assist all guests.
