We are currently running a Mentimeter pilot from May 1, 2026 to April 30, 2027. The following videos will help you set up your account and get started creating interactive components for your course.

 Create a New Mentimeter Account

In this video, you will learn to:

• register for a Mentimeter account
• connect with the MRU workspace

 Upgrade Your Free Mentimeter Account to an MRU Account

In this video, you will learn to connect your existing Mentimeter account to the paid MRU account and workspace. Your existing Mentimeter account must use your mtroyal.ca email address.

 Create, Post, Present, and Sync with D2L Grades

In this video, you will learn to:

• create a new Menti (slides, Q&A, Word cloud)
• use the chat and reaction features
• connect and sync with D2L's Gradebook
• present live

 Run a Quiz and Sync Grades in D2L

In this video, you will learn to:

• create a quiz in Mentimeter
• add the Menti into D2L
• connect with D2L's Gradebook

 Import a PowerPoint into Mentimeter and Post on D2L

 Create a Menti with External Videos and Links and Connect Attendance in D2L

iClicker

The following tutorials demonstrate how to use iClicker for your class. There are two versions of iClicker available:

• a cloud-based system that doesn't require specific hardware
• the classic hardware-driven set up that requires a receiver and remotes
