Meet the Finalists: JMH LaunchPad 2026

Every year, JMH LaunchPad brings together some of the most ambitious student founders at Mount Royal University.

Finalists arrive with businesses already in motion - ventures that have demonstrated traction, engaged real customers, and undergone rigorous validation.

LaunchPad is more than a pitch competition. It is a proving ground: eight weeks of mentorship, iteration, customer discovery, financial refinement, and disciplined scrutiny. By the time founders step onto the stage, their ventures have been challenged, sharpened, and stress-tested.

This year’s finalists represent disciplines across campus - business, computing, communications and beyond - but they share one defining standard: they have built something real and are prepared to defend it publicly.

Meet the 2026 finalists below.

Capture Plan - Kaydan Pring

Capture Plan helps B2B construction companies find and win more bids through expert account-based marketing. By combining deep industry knowledge with proven digital marketing techniques, Capture Plan gives growing firms a much-needed competitive edge.

Why LaunchPad Matters

LaunchPad is designed to support ventures already in motion.

Finalists spend weeks, months, and sometimes years refining their business, deepening customer insights, strengthening operating plans, and clarifying their value proposition. The competition is an opportunity to articulate that work with precision and confidence.

The outcome is not just a compelling presentation. It is the founders who better understand their business and can defend it with evidence, receiving support to take their business to the next level.

We are proud of every student who committed to that process - and especially those who earned a place among this year’s finalists.

The 2026 JMH LaunchPad Pitch Competition is made possible by the generous contributions of JMH & Co. We also extend our gratitude to Brad Williamson of Catch Digital for contributing $15,000 towards go-to-market services to support this year’s winners.

Thank you to all our donors and supporters who help empower the next generation of student entrepreneurs!

Join us on April 1st, 2026, as they take the stage.
