Evaluating Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) Understanding
How might we better evaluate success of key Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with resident directed grants?
Meet the Trio
The Evaluating Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) Understanding trio is working to understand community priorities and how they might better align funding in ways that resonate with community. They are prioritizing community engagement and accessibility, and appreciate the opportunity to bring together a diversity of ideas and philosophies. Angad, Ryan, and Anh highlight that community members and organizations are partners in the learning process and are essential to creating meaningful paths forward.
Portfolio of Learning
As a result of their Catamount journey, the Evaluating SDG Understanding trio was able to better understand the system they were working within, identify key gaps, and highlight opportunities to improve evaluation and communication. Their internal work highlighted the culture of sustainability in the Town of Golden and how they might connect what already exists in the robust community and ecosystem. They identified an audiovisual resource as a valuable opportunity to produce in the future.
