Catamount Fellows research a complex, systemic issue affecting the community in collaboration with a community partner and faculty mentor. Over the 2025-2026 academic year, each Catamount Fellow embarks on deep learning with the community, hosts community engagement opportunities, and is creating a portfolio of learning to share their insights.
The Catamount trios
Each Catamount Fellowship team is a trio, bringing together three perspectives and changemaking backgrounds: student, practitioner, and faculty mentor. Together, the trio explores a complex challenge, grounded in a "How Might We" question, maps the system around it, and develops deeper understanding that can inform meaningful action.
Throughout their Catamount journey, they will work on these wicked problems, not only to understand and address them, but also to reflect on their collaborative process and personal growth. Meet the fourteen trios and their systemic issues below
Join us at Trico Changemaker Studio (EB 3013), on April 8, 2026, at 4:30 PM. Engage with the Catamount Fellows on the systemic issues they have been exploring as they share their learning reflections from the fellowship.
We look forward to seeing you at this year's showcase!
