The Finding Meaningful Work trio is focused on how we might recognize the amazing gifts and experiences newcomers bring up are unable to use due to systemic barriers. Oluchi, Ryan, and Esra’s work is informed by the Calgary Alliance’s robust listening campaign, when they listened to around a thousand Calgarians and heard about the struggles that many people are having in finding work. Their Catamount journey is in pursuit of deliverables that communicate insights across academic and community audiences and influence awareness and action.

Portfolio of Learning

As a part of their Catamount journey, each trio will create a portfolio of learning to share their insights with the wider community. Each trio is researching their topic, workshoping systems-thinking tools, and engaging with community, and will turn these processes into artifacts and resources to document their learnings. Stay tuned as these learnings are revealed in the coming months!
