Finding Meaningful Work
How might we collectively embrace and recognize the gifts that recent immigrants and youth bring to Calgary?
The Finding Meaningful Work trio focused on how we might recognize the amazing gifts and experiences newcomers bring up are unable to use due to systemic barriers. Oluchi, Ryan, and Esra’s work was informed by the Calgary Alliance’s robust listening campaign, when they listened to around a thousand Calgarians and heard about the struggles that many people are having in finding work.

As a part of their Catamount journey, the Finding Meaningful Work trio worked to engage with community and supported the Calgary Alliance's work to communicate insights across academic and community audiences and influence awareness and action.
