International Baccalaureate Courses

Students in International Baccalaureate (IB) courses are required to provide a final, official transcript. Transcripts must be sent directly from the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) to Admissions at Mount Royal University. You can request an official IB transcript through the IBO website.

*If an MRU course equivalency (university-level) is awarded as shown in this chart, the course may be used as a high school equivalent course as noted in the Group A or B column.

Note: 1xxx = Junior Level Unspecified

Applicants who successfully complete IB courses with a minimum grade of ‘5’ may use applicable IB courses for the purpose of admission and transfer credit. Where an applicant presents both the IB course and the corresponding Grade 12 course, the higher grade will be used.
