Student Computing Services
IT Student Computing Services maintains the University's computer labs, classrooms, public kiosks, PCounter stations and Accessibility stations. Students can access the Internet, email and course specific sites (i.e. Blackboard). Each lab has slightly different software and hours of availability, please refer to the Lab Software list and Computer availability for more detail.
Students with special needs can find Accessibility stations in the Riddell Library. They are equipped with height adjustable desks, large display monitors as well as Narration & Magnification software.
Lab information
Teaching Labs - Open Lab Times: Priority is given to scheduled classes in the Teaching Labs, however there are open lab times between scheduled classes. The monthly schedule for each lab will be posted on the door of each lab. It can also be viewed online by selecting the labs View link under the Schedule column on the Computer availability webpage.
Open Lab Time - available for student use until next scheduled class or 10 p.m.
Scheduled Class - available for scheduled class only.
Lab Closed - the lab is closed no access available.
EA2047 and the Riddell Library are bring your own device (BYOD) areas. Wireless connectivity and printing is available.
