Paula Worthington
Public Relations Instructor
Paula Worthington is an entrepreneur, award-winning communications professional and respected national PR leader with 20 years of experience in public relations, strategy and media relations. Paula received her Bachelor of Arts (with distinction) in Communication Studies from the University of Calgary. She is currently the President of Worthington PR & Story, a communications and PR agency in Calgary.
In 2022, Paula was inducted into the Canadian Marketing, Advertising, Communication and PR Hall of Fame. She volunteers her time with the Marketing Advisory Committee for Enactus Canada, in addition to managing a robust portfolio of not-for-profit organizations and charities within her agency. Over the past 14 years, Paula has also honed her skills as a national freelance writer, specializing in travel and photography.
In Winter 2023, Paula is teaching Media Relations (PUBR 3841).
