Marg completed her undergraduate nursing diploma from the Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology (SIAST, now Saskatchewan Polytechnic), her bachelor and master degrees of nursing from the University of Saskatchewan, and her doctor of education from the University of Calgary. Marg has a professional background in adult surgical nursing, critical care, and cardiology. She also has experience in nursing education, nursing education administration, and nursing regulation. Her areas of interest in research are in interprofessional education, licensure examination support, community development, nursing history, and collaborative nursing programs. Marg’s other professional interests include policy development and collaborative practice. Marg joined the Mount Royal University School of Nursing and Midwifery in 2014, and has taught courses in all years of the bachelor of nursing program, in the areas of health promotion, professional practice, alterations in health, and leadership trends and issues. In 2021, Marg took on the role of Assistant to the Chair, Workload and Practice Experience.
