Kendra has worked as an Archaeological Cultural Resource Management Consultant for 15 years, specializing in Alberta historic period archaeology. In 2015, after experiencing the close contacts between modern indigenous communities, traditional use sites, and archaeological heritage, Kendra began working as a consultation and engagement facilitator as well as a professional archaeologist. Developing understanding and public discourse on engagement and heritage is a central focus of her research.
