I am a geologist with 25 years experience in the petroleum industry and 16 years as an instructor. I am currently working on exciting projects searching for hydrocarbon in old rocks in new basins in Australia and find the many challenges of exploration in an underexplored area make the day to day job extremely interesting.

As the instructor of Introduction to the Petroleum Industry I bring my experiences to share as well as giving my class a solid knowledge base to prepare them for employment within industry. My previous instructional work includes; Physical Geology, Physical and Historical Geology Labs, and a Science and Technology continuing education course at Mount Royal University and the Geological Technician Program in the Energy and Natural Resources Department at SAIT. I am the author of Exploring the Petroleum Industry, co-author on several petroleum conference presentations, and the author of a short program for SAIT.
