Money Matters

Welcome to Money Matters

Tuition and fee payment
In order to comply with physical distancing recommendations, the Office of the Registrar is not able to accept in-person tuition and fee payments. Please stay home and pay your fees online through online banking or credit cards by the posted deadlines.

Paying by online banking is like using your debit card to make a purchase. Your payment will come out of your bank account directly once it’s processed.

We are still accepting forms through our office dropbox, or you can scan and email your forms to us.

Emergency Bursaries
The Emergency Bursary is a non-repayable bursary for full-time or part-time students who have encountered an urgent, unforeseen occurrence requiring immediate financial support that is not available from other resources. You must be currently enrolled in the semester in which you are applying for the emergency bursary. If you need assistance, complete the Emergency Bursary Request form.

Students can also apply for emergency bursary funds through the Students’ Association of Mount Royal University here. Indigenous students can email Marija Small Legs ( at the Iniskim Centre.

Mandatory Non-Instructional Fee (MNIF)
Student fees will not be reduced or eliminated at this time because services and supports continue to be offered and in many cases have increased. The fees cover less than half of the cost to provide and make available programs, services, varsity sports and facilities. We continue to support varsity sports and are maintaining recreational facilities for when they are available again.
