The Conflicts of Interest Act in Alberta now requires employees of all public agencies and post-secondary institutions to comply with a specific Code of Conduct. Employees are expected to avoid activities that present an actual or perceived conflict of interest unless those conflicts are disclosed in writing, assessed and appropriately addressed according to procedures in the Code of Conduct.
All employees of Mount Royal University must read and abide by the new Code of Conduct, which comes into effect on July 1, 2019.
