Security awareness workshops

Prefer to learn from a real live human rather than online? Then a workshop is for you! All participants receive a manual and quick reference guides. All workshops are open to staff, faculty and alumni. 

Your training status is stored in your training proflile in our Security Edcuation Platform. Therefore before you register for a workshop, please check to see if you have a training profile by visiting the platform and logging in.with your MRU login credentials. If you are denied access, you you must enroll in online training first. If you see an online training assignement, you hae a profile and can register for a workshop.

Once you complete your workshop your training profile will be manually updated to show your mandatory training has been completed and your online training assignment will disappear. In addition, you will receive a notification email to confirm that you have completed your training.

Protecting yourself against cybercrime 2020/21 - 90 min

This fascinating and informative 90 min workshop gives you all the tools you need to keep you and yours cyber safe. As an added bonus, completion of this workshop fulfills the annual mandatory cybersecurity training requirement.
