MRU’s Emergency Notification System uses multiple channels to reach the campus community during an emergency.

MRU Now Alerts

Download the MRU Now app on your mobile device to be notified during campus emergencies or other time-sensitive events. You can also opt-in to SMS/text alerts by texting MRU to 67283.

Mass Communication

The Main Campus, EA, EB, EC, ED, and EL (Riddell Library and Learning Centre) buildings are equipped with an alarm and mass communication system, also known as a public address or PA system.
