The Continuing Education registration system will undergo maintenance from Friday, May 9 at 6 p.m. to Sunday, May 11 at 6 p.m. Some registration functionality will remain available, but system performance will be reduced during this time.

In April 2012, to celebrate the 300th anniversary of the French philosopher Jean-Jacques Rousseau, the Department of Languages and Cultures organized a number of activities in the francophone community and a Colloquium at MRU. As a follow-up to these very successful week-long activities, talks are under way with the "Réseau Lumières" in France for a Spring 2013 publication of the colloquium proceedings under the direction of Dr. Antoine Eche. This publication is being done as a collaboration between the université de Tours (France) and Mount Royal University. Articles by MRU French instructors Antoine Eche, Gilles Mossière and Antoine Sassine will be included.
