Paul Swanson

Journalism Professor

Paul Swanson is a visual thinker, who has a BA in Economics from Concordia University in Montreal, a BFA in Filmmaking from SUNY Purchase, New York and a Master’s in Digital Media from The Centre for Digital Media in Vancouver, Canada. Paul teaches media design and data visualization for the Communications’ Faculty at MRU. Over the past 20 years, Paul water skied with Moby, was on the cover of Godsmack’s “Faceless”; a platinum selling cd and had a brief acting appearance in the Mariah Carey video – “Bringin’ on the Heartbreak”. Paul has lived and worked in Manhattan, Los Angeles, the south of France and South East Asia, where his area of expertise was in Visual Communication & Digital Design, both as a professional and academic.
