Applications

Applications to all international field school programs are to be completed using the online field school application. Before accessing the application form, please review the information below.

Instructions and hints for accurately completing the application are provided on the first page of form itself, however please note the following before beginning the online application process:

• You have the option of completing the application in multiple sessions. Ensure you select “Save Progress” at the bottom of each page or your information will be lost if you log  out without submitting the final application.
• A number of supporting documents are required to be uploaded with each application(see below). All supporting documents must be uploaded in PDF format. An application is not considered complete if the supporting documents are not attached.
• The online application has been optimized to work with Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. We cannot guarantee that it will work with other browsers.
• You must complete the application on a desktop or laptop computer. It is not compatible with tablets or mobile devices.

Supporting documents for applications

All field school applications require the following documents to be uploaded in PDF form:

• Copy of Passport (Note: If you do not yet have a passport you can submit your application without including it and provide a copy as soon as it is received.).
• Testimonial and Media Release Form
• Assumption of Risk, Responsibility and Liability Waiver
• Confirmation of Registration to MyWorldAbroad

Each specific field school may request additional supporting documents to assist in evaluating your application. This may include a copy of your grades, a statement of purpose, etc.  Please confirm any additional requirements by visiting the page specific to your field school. The list of field schools can be found at mru.ca/fieldschools.

Ensure that you have all your supporting documents saved and ready to upload as PDFs before beginning the online application.
