PhD(1996) University of Calgary

Indy Lagu finished his PhD in mathematics at the University of Calgary in 1996 and has been at Mount Royal University ever since. He has taught most of the mathematics courses the department offers, including Numerical Analysis and The Beauty of Mathematics. Since 2000, he has been on the executive of the Mathematics Council of the Alberta Teachers' Association.

His PhD was in approximation theory, but now Indy finds himself interested in mathematics education and the mathematics of options and futures. He hopes to learn more about these topics in the near future.

When he finds some spare time, Indy will be cooking, playing guitar, and wondering when the Montreal Canadiens will win another Stanley Cup.
