After doing undergraduate studies in physics and pure mathematics at the University of Calgary, Adam obtained a Master's and PhD in Pure Mathematics from the University of Waterloo.
Adam does pure-mathematical research in the areas of operator algebras and operator theory. His current research includes non-selfadjoint operator algebras and their C*-envelopes, and noncommutative convexity theory and its connection to operator systems.
Adam teaches mathematics courses at MRU and has taught previously at the University of Waterloo and University of Alberta. He is available to supervise undergraduate research projects or reading courses in mathematics, and interested students are encouraged to contact him!
In his free time, he can be found rock climbing, hiking, strength training, and playing music.
