Charlotte joined the department in 2021 after spending 6 years working
in the pipeline inspection industry as a data scientist. Her research
interests are in signal and image processing with both heuristic
algorithms and machine learning techniques. She is a proponent of open
source and is the primary developer of pdfstitcher.org, a utility for
combining PDF pages and selectively modifying layer properties.
