FAST Research

Mount Royal University uses FAST Finance to keep track of research projects' expenditures. FAST Research is one of Banner software suite's module, which tracks both internal and external funded research projects. More specifically, researchers can access their project's financial information online through FAST. It also allows you to view your balances easily and more efficiently.

Once you research project is approved, the Research Finance Analyst will contact you for the required budget to complete the paperwork needed to grant you with Banner access.

Accessing the FAST Research Page

Fast Research can be accessed through your MyMRU homepage.

  1. Login to your MyMRU account. FAST Research can only be accessed through MyMRU.

  3. Click the Financial Matters tab.

  5. Under Financial Services, chose the FAST link you wish to access.

  7. On the left side of your screen, click Research Administration.

  9. On the menu bar, click My Research for more information options.

  11. Under Grant Details, chose the project information you would like to see and click Execute Report.

  13. By clicking the Available Balance amount, you will be redirected to the FAST Finance page.
    Note: FAST Research pages are dependent on the date range shown. Project to date will be its default.
