Who can apply for funding?

If you are accepted to the Transitional Vocational / Employment Preparation Program (TVP), you may qualify for funding if you fulfill the basic eligibility requirements:

Note there are some Alberta Works basic eligibility requirements that do not apply to TVP learners:

• You must be 18 years old by the start date of the program.
• You do not need to have been out of high school for 1 year.
• Liquid assets will not be used to determine finacial need.
• If you are receiving Assured Income for the Severely Handicapped (AISH) you may choose to apply for funding for tuition and books only.

Once accepted to the program, a meeting with a Skills Investment Program Advisor will be scheduled to complete the funding application process
