On Monday 20 November 2017, at 2:00pm in Room EA 3001/ 3003 (the Knuckle or Fishbowl) Kevin Taft (former Alberta Liberal Party leader) will speak to his new book Oil's Deep State. As the title suggests,
Oil's Deep State examines the intersection of the oil sands and politics in Alberta. Kevin Taft will speak for approximately 20-25 minutes and then take questions from the audience.
Mr. Taft spent 11 years in the provincial legislature and is the former leader of the Alberta Liberal Party. He is the author of two previous books, Shredding the Public Interest and Follow the Money.
There is no charge for the event.
