Ayan Mack has over twenty years of nursing experience in clinical and academic nursing programs at leading institutions. She has worked as Senior Simulation Consultant at the Provincial eSIM department in AHS-FMC and has proudly served as a Medic in the 48th Highlanders of Canada Army Reserve Regiment. Ayan is an Ontario Scholar who completed her Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Toronto and has Critical Care-Neuroscience and Simulation post-graduate certificates. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at the University of Calgary; her research centres on equity in nursing education and employs Appreciative Inquiry to investigate how equity in nursing education achieves more equitable patient care. Ayan enjoys spending time with her husband and three young children, hiking, and drinking tea with friends.
