General Laboratory Safety
Laboratories are potentially hazardous spaces. This is especially true in undergraduate and research laboratories considering the chemical, biological and physical hazards, turnover of personnel, and varied levels of worker competency. All laboratory work activities must be in compliance with the Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulation and Code, any municipal and federal regulations, and with University and/or Faculty policies, procedures, and regulations.
