Student Perception of Teaching (SPoT) - Fall 2025

Evaluation Period: Wednesday, November 12- Tuesday, December 9, 2025

Full-semester credit courses will be evaluated during this time. Instructors may adjust he exact date and time for their classes.

 

How it Works

• Courses open for feedback at various times throughout the semester.
• Students will receive an email to their MRU account when an evaluation is ready.
• Surveys can also be accessed directly through D2L or at https://evaluate.mtroyal.ca/blue

Privacy and Confidentiality

• All responses are anonymous and reported in aggregate form.
• Comments are reviewed to remove personal identifiers in accordance with Alberta's Protection of Privacy Act (POPA).
• Instructors do not receive their summary reports until after final grades are posted, and they cannot identify individual students.

 

How to Complete Your Evaluation

1. Use the link in your email, log in through D2L, or visit https://evaluate.mtroyal.ca/blue
2. Sign in with your MRU username and password.
3. Choose the class you'd like to evaluate and follow the on-screen instructions.              

       If you see more than one evaluation for the same instructor, it's likely for different components (eg. lecture, lab, or tutorial)
