Student Leadership

Student Leadership at Mount Royal University

Mount Royal University is full of leadership opportunities for students to develop new skills and build community while pursuing their academic studies. Utilizing the 5 Practices of Exemplary Leadership Model developed by Kouzes and Posner (2012), MRU works to provide students with diverse opportunities to engage in meaningful leadership experiences while helping them to articulate their personal and professional growth for career opportunities. Student leaders at MRU are eligible to receive the MRU Student Leader Badges for their participation in leadership programs/roles across campus. These badges are micro-credentials that serve as verified recognition of a student's achievement throughout their academic and leadership jouneys. Details about the badges, what is required, and how to apply can be found through the Student Leader Digital Badges tab on the left side of the page.
