STUDENT MENTEES

This is an exciting opportunity to secure your very own mentor. Your mentor can help you on your career path.

This program can help you to:

  • Gain industry-specific knowledge
  • Make professional connections
  • Achieve work life balance in your career
  • Develop confidence, new skills, credibility

 

How the program works:

  • You need to have been at MRU for three years *Unless you're an aviation student- aviation students can be in any year
  • You must apply to be accepted- apply on MyCareerHub by clicking MENTORSHIP
  • Your application will be reviewed, and you will recieve an email (it may take a few weeks for matches to start showing up)
  • Once accepted, you get to choose your mentor- engage early to get your first pick!
  • You will meet regularly with your mentor one-on-one from January until April
  • Attend mentorship activities and events
