I'm interested in understanding how both acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries develop, and the interaction between how we move and how we are built determines the loading environment that our musculoskeletal tissues are exposed to. I'm passionate about teaching biomechanics and demonstrating that it provides us the ability to answer many questions we have about the human body.

Areas of Instruction:

  • Movmement Biomechanics
  • Tissue Biomechanics
  • Statistics and Research Methods

Areas of Scholarship:

  • Movement biomechanics
  • Musculoskeletal modeling
  • Gait modification
