ADHD Peer Group

Join our ADHD Peer Group for students registered with Access and Inclusion Services

  • Connect with other students who share your experience
  • Learn about topics related to ADHD from peers and experts

This ADHD Peer Group is for students registered with Access and Inclusion Services. The group brings together students who are managing the impacts of ADHD in university. Come to as many, or as few sessions and you want!

What can you expect? ADHD Peer group sessions are a comfortable, welcoming environment for students registered with Access and Inclusion Services to connect with others who share their experience, and learn from each other and experts. 

Sessions are facilitated by an Academic Strategist from Access and Inclusion Services. Wednesday sessions are informal in-person discussions. Friday sessions are online presentations by experts from around the MRU community.

  • November 1: Masking & shame
  • November 15: ADHD life hacks

  • October 6: Executive functioning & memory
  • October 27: Interpersonal relationships & conflict
  • November 10: Neurobiology & co-occurring diagnoses

Living Well Peer Group

  • This peer group is for students diagnosed with mental health conditions and registered with Access and Inclusion
  • Connect with other students who share your experience
  • Learn about topics related to mental health from peers and experts

This Living Well Peer Group is for students registered with Access and Inclusion Services. The group brings together students who are managing the impacts of mental health in university. Come to as many, or as few sessions and you want!

What can you expect? Living Well Peer group sessions are a comfortable, welcoming environment for students registered with Access and Inclusion Services to connect with others who share their experience, and learn from each other and experts. 

Sessions are facilitated by an Academic Strategist from Access and Inclusion Services and a Counsellor from Wellness. In person sessions will run every second Monday, beginning September 18th.
