Join our Tism Peer Group for MRU Students!

  

  • This peer group is for students diagnosed with autism or on the spectrum  
  • Connect with other students who share your experience
  • Learn about topics related to ASD from peers and experts

This Tism Peer Group is for MRU students. The group brings together students who are tired of trying to pass as neurotypical and want a place to be themselves with others and who share their experience. Come to as many, or as few sessions and you want!

What can you expect? The Tism Peer Group sessions are a comfortable, welcoming environment for students who want to connect with others who share their experience, and learn from each other and experts. 

Sessions are facilitated by a Counsellor from Wellness and an Academic Strategist from Access and Inclusion Services. In person sessions will run every second Wednesday or Thursday, with alternating times. Our hope is that you can find at least one time that works for you!

This group brings together students who are managing the impacts of ADHD in university. Come to as many, or as few sessions and you want!

Students must be registered with Access and Inclusion Services to attend.
