Understanding admission timelines

This page explains the admissions cycle and decision statuses you will see as an applicant.

You can view your application status at any time in the Future Student Portal. You'll also receive an email whenever your application status changes or a new decision is made.

You may apply up to two programs. Each program is reviewed separately, and some programs may take longer to review than others. Admission to one does not affect evaluation of the other.

    • All transcripts and self-reported grades must be received. If received after Feb. 1, your application will be considered for ongoing admission.

February to April

  • Early Admission applicants continue receiving offers

Admission decisions are based on  competitive averages, which are determined by:

  • The number of applications received for each program,

  • The number of seats available, and

  • The competitive averages presented by applicants in the pool.

As a result, some applicants will receive decisions before other applicants who applied around the same time. Those with higher competitive averages are typically offered admission first, while those whose averages are closer to the cut-off may experience a longer wait as evaluations continue and program waitlists are established.

Starting February

Ongoing admission

  • Applications remain open for programs with available space
  • Offers will continue to be sent based on seat availability and applicant competitiveness
  • Programs will close when there are enough qualified applicants and waitlists established
