Tours and coming to campus


Please note that while Mount Royal campus is open, all guests are required to check in at one of our welcome booths, located at East Gate, West Gate and the Recreation entrance.

Following provincial public health actions, you must be able to show one of the following for access to campus:

  • proof of vaccination
  • proof of a negative COVID-19 test within the past 72 hours
  • proof of a valid medical exemption.

General campus tours

Led by a tour guide, discover all corners of campus and get a first-hand look at student life at MRU. Tours are approximately 45 minutes, masks are required, space is limited.

Experiential tours

Join a tour guide for an in-depth tour of a unique faculty or program-specific space, such as simulator labs, studios or classrooms. Tours range from 20 to 45 minutes, masks are required, space is limited.

Anthropology Research Lab

Anthropology will be hosting an in-person guided exploration of the Research lab and the various artifacts contained within.

Bissett School of Business - CN Supply Chain Analytics Lab

Explore the CN Supply Chain Analytics Lab and see experiential learning at its finest while students solve supply chain issues, understand global interconnectedness and perform risk analyses with access to real-time data from companies around the world. This state of the art lab lets students seek out and analyze live and historical business data crucial to navigating Canada's new economy.

School of Communication Studies

From modern lab environments, to a fully equipped TV studio, to an in-house radio station, our School of Communication Studies provides unique, hands-on learning opportunities that will prepare you for a diverse and rewarding career. Program majors include Broadcast Media Studies, Information Design, Journalism and Digital Media and Public Relations.

Information Design

Take an in-depth tour of our Information Design classrooms and workspaces. Our unique, hands-on learning environment helps you build the portfolio you need to secure the job of your dreams.

Residence tours

See what Residence living is all about! Tours are led by Resident Advisors (student staff) and include a viewing of a West and an East four-bedroom unit. Staff will be available at the Recreation check in area to answer any questions about Residence between tours. Tours are approximately one hour, masks are required, space is limited.
