Laboratory Safety

Laboratory safety involves an awareness of the potential hazards and sources of danger that can exist within a laboratory setting.

It is important to outline the minimum requirements for working safely in a laboratory and to provide guidelines, safe work procedures, and training to recognize and manage these hazards and mitigate the risks.

Other spaces that are commonly referred to as laboratories, include computer labs, greenhouses, clinics, maker studios, etc.
