Get support

The MRU Support advocate provides specializes support for people who have been impacted by dating, domestic and sexual violence. Information shared with an Advocate is confidential and available to any MRU student or employee, regardless of when or where the violence occurred. There is no obligation to report.

All appointments are confidential and can be done in-person, virtually or over the phone. 

  • support and information about resources both on and off-campus
  • academic accommodations (eg. excused absence, extension, switching a course section, etc.)
  • safety planning
  • understanding reporting options
  • making a report to MRU

In order to view the appointment calendar, you must use Google Chrome as the browser and be logged in to your @mtroyal Gmail account.

Appointments can be either in-person or virtual.  For in-person, go to Wellness Services (U216), where Student Counselling is located and let the receptionist know when you arrive. For virtual, you can use the google meet from the appointment booking in your google calendar.
