- Provides wage subsidies to employers that offer work-integrated learning placements
- The student does not need to be in a course requiring WIL. Employers can make a case that most placements in their field of study or that would help further their learning/career progression could be eligible.
- Create partnerships with colleges, universities, polytechnics and CEGEPs to recruit students for these placements
- Wage subsidies (minimum wage or higher): up to 70% (max. $7000)
- Up to $5,000 for every student you hire through the program
- Up to $7000 for underrepresented students (Women in STEM, newcomers, Indigenous students, persons with disabilities, visible minorities and first year students)
