Whether just beginning their Mount Royal education or soon completing it, this presentation will provide insight to students making choices about career direction, developing an effective resume, cover letter or portfolio or competing for program-related graduate or summer employment opportunities.

Students will learn effective ways to identify and reflect on what they know about their abilities, exploring the role skill awareness can play in job search, and future career success and satisfaction. They will begin to identify their own skills in the context of a career direction, industry or program related field currently of interest to them. The presentation emphasis will be on identifying demonstratable skills which are developed in all aspects of a student's life, rather than simply through traditional employment.
