AI-enabled fraud

Khosro Salmani, an associate professor in the department of mathematics and computing, will lead a presentation on the rise of AI-enabled fraud. The session will cover best practices for identifying and neutralizing emerging digital threats. Register online.

Second annual general meeting
Thursday, April 23 from 1 to 2:30 p.m.
The meeting will be held in a hybrid format, though members living in the Calgary area are encouraged to attend in person. More information will be released shortly.

MRU faculty retirees’ photography exhibition opening reception
Thursday, April 30 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. — Riddell Library and Learning Centre
The MRU retirees’ association is hosting a photography exhibition and silent auction on the Library’s top floor to showcase member work, with submissions managed by organizer Shiraz Kurji. Please see the previous newsletter for details regarding how to submit, the information to be included with your submissions and return of mounted prints. The photographs will remain on display until Sunday, May 31.
