Finance

Through a combination of theory and application students develop in depth knowledge of investments, financial analysis, financial risk management, corporate and international finance. Students will be well prepared to begin work on the CFA® (Chartered Financial Analyst®) credential upon graduation.

Consider a minor in Finance if:

• you want to explore the areas of mathematics, statistical analysis, technology and ethics and how they relate to finance.
• you want a career as a financial advisor or analyst in a brokerage firm or bank.
• you want to become a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or work towards a Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM).

This minor is an option for any MRU degree student.
