School of Communication Studies

Specializing in connecting communication concepts and theories to real-life experiences, Mount Royal University's School of Communication Studies prepares you for a diverse and rewarding career.

As part of the Faculty of Business, Communication Studies and Aviation, communication students in all four disciplines have the opportunity to:

  • Collaborate with students and faculty in all School of Communication Studies and Bissett School of Business programs
  • Complete a work experience designed to give you real-world experience prior to graduation
  • Expand your learning and experience by specializing in a minor
  • Enhance your global understanding by taking part in international field schools

 

The Bachelor of Communication degree is the only bachelor-level program in Western Canada with four majors in: Information Design, Journalism and Digital Media, Public Relations and Broadcast Media Studies.
