BIOGRAPHY

Shane Halasz has been teaching university courses in communication studies and general education for more than 18 years. Shane received his bachelor's degree in communication studies from Simon Fraser University and master's degree (also in communication studies) from the University of Calgary. His main areas of interest are the representation of drug issues in popular culture and literature, discourses about drugs and drug policy, and the evolution of human consciousness.
