Reg Hampton

Reg spent more than 35 years in broadcast journalism in British Columbia and Alberta, working at CTV and Global Television as a writer, reporter, anchor, producer, assignment editor, and manager. His enthusiasm for mentoring and coaching new talent has led him to this new role at Mount Royal University.

Reg obtained a Master's Degree from Royal Roads University, where he won the inaugural Michael Real Outstanding Research Paper award, and was published in the academic journal Qualitative Inquiry.  

In his spare time, Reg plays competitive poker.  He is the proud father of three adult children.
