Dr. Hayes' work involves chemically assessing both the built and natural environment to better understand the sum total of human exposures to known and unknown contaminants of concern (Exposomics). His principal focus within this overarching theme is directed towards the aircraft cabin environment, in which he assesses the chemical exposure risks and the occupational health and safety consequences of this unique environment.
